update on Len

Good news for those who have been following Len’s progress- he is walking!

The injuries were extensive. A broken hand, neck, back, chemical burns on his left arm, spinal cord injury, damage to the optic nerve in his left eye, and a concussion. At least four vertebrae broken, one badly. Four vertebrae were surgically fused.

After months in the hospital and more than a year in rehab so far, we thank God every day for His goodness and mercy.

Len’s nephew, Shaughn Uebinger, is working on a video following what has been happening. We are very excited about it, and will post it here and on YouTube when it’s done.

Meanwhile, as was said in the Smithsonian article on Len’s accomplishment,” the dream lives on”.  The real priority is to launch a fuel/water/chemical industry that will change the world for the better.

One day, when we are asked if we want to buy any ‘black stuff’ by people who don’t really like us we’ll say: “Sorry, we don’t use that any more.”
